The Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board is in the process of recruitment of Sub Inspectors of Police, Gr.II Police Constables, Gr II Jail Warders and Firemen.
In terms of the policy of the government that the Board is responsible for carrying out recruitment in a professional manner with fairness and transparency, recruitment will be done purely based on merit and in strict accordance with relevant rules.
Candidates are advised not to fall prey to claims by any persons that they will be able to secure employment by exercising influence or by other illegal or corrupt means. Taking gratification in the pretext of exercising influence amounts to criminal offences. Payment of illegal gratification will also amount to a criminal act punishable by law. RECRUITMENT OF SUB-INSPECTORS OF POLICE-2011 (OPEN) PROVISIONAL LIST OF ELIGIBLE CANDIDATES FOR VIVA-VOCE
The Provisional list of eligible candidates for the Viva-Voce is given below. The Viva-Voce will be held from 28.9.2010 onwards at the Office of the Inspector General of Police, State Crime Records Bureau, No.95, DGS Dinakaran Salai, Foreshore Estate, Raja Annamalaipuram, Chennai-28. Individual call letters specifying the date and time of the Viva-Voce for each candidate is being sent separately. If a candidate
fails to receive the call letter for the Viva-Voce, he/she may come to the venue on the date and time specified in the website with sufficient documents to prove his/her identity. The candidate will be allowed to attend the Viva-Voce subject to the verification of his/her identity.
